Our Home Remodel Process

Step 1: Consultation & Cost Clarity

Step 1: Consultation & Cost Clarity

We start by listening—really listening.
Your first conversation with UHRE isn’t a sales pitch; it’s a chance for us to understand your goals, timeline, and budget.

Home Visit & Range-of-Cost Estimate
After walking through your space together, we prepare a Range of Cost (ROC) Estimate—a realistic pricing window tailored to your vision and project scope.

Review & Decision
We review your ROC together to ensure expectations align. If everything feels right, we move into detailed planning. If not, you still walk away with clarity and insight—no pressure, no mystery.

Step 2: Preconstruction Planning Process

Modern white living room addition in Park City UT

This is where your remodel truly takes shape—and where we set the stage for a stress-free build. Our team works side by side with you to finalize every decision before construction begins, eliminating last-minute surprises and protecting your budget.

Here’s what you can expect:

Vision & Scope – We define exactly what will be built, line by line, so nothing is left to chance.

Selections – From flooring to fixtures, every product and finish is chosen up front with expert guidance.

Price Transparency – Unsure if an upgrade is worth it? We price options early so you can decide confidently.

Drawings & Renderings – See your space before it’s built with detailed visuals that bring your vision to life.
Trade Bids & Scheduling – All subcontractor pricing and material lead times are locked in before demo day.

By planning every detail in advance, most UHRE projects move forward with zero change orders—because everything has already been decided.

Step 3: Build with Confidence

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. UHRE sales, coordinators, contractors, and subcontractors were fantastic; from beginning to end. I told them what I wanted done, picked out materials/finishes, and they done all the work. Change orders in the middle of the project were easily added. UHRE was recommended by a co-worker, I was very happy with them. They stayed on schedule, with only a few minor glitches. The craftsmanship and quality of the work was superb.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently remodeled our kitchen with Utah Home Remodel Experts and had a fantastic experience. From the start, they were clear about the process. Jayden worked with us to ensure every detail was planned out prior to the bid. Once we had the bid, Curtis took over the project and did a phenomenal job keeping the subs on time. We appreciated their clear communication and craftsmanship. We get so many compliments on our kitchen and could not be happier. We would not hesitate for a second to use them in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys are great! Working with them from beginning to end was super easy. They made sure that we had all the important decisions made and built into the estimate before we started construction. The construction experience was just as smooth and clear as the reconstruction experience. Thanks to the Utah Home Remodel Experts for a great experience from the beginning to final touches.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Utah Home Remodel. They were amazing every step of the way for our kitchen remodel. We got to work with Taylor at the beginning. He was thorough and knowledgeable and put us at ease. Jayden helped us with buying the different products for our kitchen. He kept us moving along and steered us in the direction to keep us within our price range. Curtis was the project manager that we worked with and we highly recommend him. He was amazing and a great advocate for us and helped the subcontractors move along to finish in a timely manner. Patrick was also great and seemed knowledgeable in all aspects of home improvement. He even came on a Saturday to work on our house to help keep us on schedule. I truly can’t recommend them enough, especially when everyone I talk to says a remodel process is a nightmare I always have to correct them that that wasn’t our experience with Utah Home Remodel.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Utah Home Remodel remodeled our kitchen and master bathroom. They helped me solve several functional issues and were partners through the entire process. They have great sub-contractors who always showed up on time and performed quality work. We are extremely pleased with the results. These pictures are before and after.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 4.5; overall very satisfied with the workmanship at my home. Very pleased with the remodel and I love cooking in my kitchen now! The process including my “needs” list and “hopes and wishes” list. I was able to get EVERYTHING in my budget with only one change order. Ran into a few communication snags towards the end of the process, that were corrected and addressed immediately but ultimately led to my review not being a full 5 stars. I would work with them in the future due to the overall trust they provided in the process.
